There are many rules and laws to follow when you go to the beach, but to me, the one that is the most important is NO DOGS ALLOWED. Whenever you walk onto the beach, there is always a sign that says "No Dogs Allowed." Dogs are prohibited from the beach for many different reasons. A couple reasons are that if a dog goes to the bathroom, which is unsanitary. Irresponsible people who don't clean up after their dogs and allow them to jump on people or knock over children give dog owners a bad name then the local governments ban dogs from beaches. Dogs could disturb other people’s stuff; they can also disturb the birds. People could be highly allergic to dogs which could cause people to not be able to go to the beach. My mom and brother are allergic to dogs, so if there was a dog at the beach then they would not be allowed to go, or they would get sick. Dogs can also dig up sea turtles eggs. There are microscopic worms that are in the dogs poop. If you walk along the beach and stepped in it in your bare feet after it's been there for a while, these worms can actually enter in through the skin in your foot and can be a very disgusting and painful problem. If you want to take your dogs out of the house, there are dog parks that allow dogs; you can take them in pools that allow dogs. There are other things that dogs can do other than go to the beach.
